These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the applications and services ("Services") provided by Romanticism Inference LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By downloading, installing, or using our applications or visiting our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

The classic literary texts available through our Services are in the public domain under United States law, and certain classic paintings and other historical artworks shown in our Services are likewise in the public domain. We do not own or claim any rights in these public-domain materials, and nothing in these Terms restricts any rights you may have in the underlying public-domain works.

All other content, features, and functionality of our Services — including but not limited to our graphics, audio and narration, application user interface and design, logo, icons, software, and AI models — are owned by Romanticism Inference LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute this proprietary content without our prior written consent.

Our Services do not currently allow you to submit, post, upload, or share content, so this section is not applicable at this time. If we later add features that let you contribute content, we will update these Terms to explain how such content is handled.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals

Some features of our Services require a paid, auto-renewable subscription. We offer subscriptions exclusively through the Apple App Store (on iOS) and the Google Play Store (on Android). We do not accept credit or debit cards, and we do not collect, process, or store any payment information ourselves — all billing is handled by Apple or Google under their respective terms and policies.

Subscription options. We offer a monthly plan and an annual (yearly) plan. The monthly plan is billed once every month. The annual plan is billed once every year at a discount compared with paying month to month. The exact title, duration, and price of each plan — including, where applicable, the price per period — are shown to you on the purchase screen within the app before you confirm your purchase.

Payment and automatic renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (on iOS) or your Google Play account (on Android) when you confirm your purchase. Your subscription automatically renews — every month for the monthly plan and every year for the annual plan — and your account is charged the applicable price for each renewal unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the then-current period. Subscriptions continue to renew at the disclosed price until you cancel.

Managing or canceling your subscription. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription, and turn off automatic renewal, at any time from your device's account settings:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription — you must turn off auto-renewal through Apple or Google as described above.

Free trials and introductory offers. If we offer a free trial or introductory price and you subscribe before it ends, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase the subscription, where applicable.

Price changes. If we change the price of a subscription, Apple or Google will notify you and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price takes effect, in accordance with their policies. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

Refunds. Because Apple and Google process all payments, refund requests are handled under their policies, and we are generally unable to issue refunds directly. On iOS, you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, you can request a refund through the Google Play Store.

App store terms and EULA. Your purchase is also governed by the terms of the store through which you subscribe — the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and, for iOS apps, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), or the Google Play Terms of Service. Where a store's terms conflict with these Terms in relation to your purchase, the store's terms control for that purchase. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated content and analysis are provided for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Romanticism Inference LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Services.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Romanticism Inference LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
